Since its founding in 1923, more than 80 years ago, Showa Marutsutsu Group has prospered through the Taisho, Showa, and Heisei eras. We greatly value our customers who use our products. We attribute our steady business growth to our many loyal customers.
During our company's long history, We have focused on being a development oriented company. We have remained keenly aware of changing business environments and market needs. Consequently, We have become a solutions provider for many of our customers.
We proudly believe that the challenges encountered, and new values created as a result, have led us to a valued reputation and trust from various business fields.
We will continue to improve our abilities as a development oriented company in order to meet our customers·needs.
We have long recognized the importance of being good stewards of the environment and we believe it will be even more important in the 21st century to conduct our corporate activities in an environmentally responsible manner.
To that end, we have pioneered leadership in our business through a wide variety of products using recyclable paper and plastic materials.
Based on the concept of "In Unison With The Environment" we have actively developed new products with paper-plastic combined materials. We are also expanding the advantages of paper packaging materials. By doing this, we maintain our focus on being environmentally responsible. While these development activities enhance the recycling system, they also enable us to provide unique products that "aise the bar" for our competition.

We have incorporated the importance of social responsibility into our mission statement and management principles since the establishment of the company.
